will never replace a hardcover book

Repair, Restoration and Conservation
After my original studies into book construction and design I felt that with my knowledge of book structures and binding techniques, conservation and restoration was a natural progression. Since completing my MA in Book and Paper Conservation at Camberwell in London I have been deeply involved in the field of conserving and preserving our precious and extensive book heritage.
I am always keen to be engaged in the hands-on experience of working directly with books or documents, as well as being available in a consultative capacity when advice or information is required. I can provide detailed assistance with particular books or environments, or guidance of a general nature about care, storage or library maintenance.
As a qualified and experienced book and paper Conservator I can maintain, repair and restore individual books or complete libraries as required.
I make bespoke boxes to house and safeguard fragile or damaged books and these will also protect and help to conserve those recently restored volumes.
